The preview night at the Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery (St. Helens) is tonight! Our first independent film, ‘Olivia’, has been entered. The exhibition is open from 6:30-8:30, if you wish to come and show your support.
Our new independent film, ‘Olivia’, has been shortlisted for the upcoming St. Helens Open Art Competition. It shall be exhibited in the Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery between 16/11/10 - 08/12/10. If you wish to view the film online, it can be seen in the news article below.
We are also pleased to announce that Renaissance Film Productions have been nominated for two awards in the St. Helens Cultural Awards: The Arts Development Award, for artists who work behind the scenes in order to develop their businesses, and the Creative Arts Award, which focuses on individuals or groups who work professionally in any artform.

On Sat 23/10/10 in Liverpool a group of musicians and dancers from all over England, ambushed passers-by with traditional music in two busy streets, Church Street and the Liverpool One shopping mall. The “weapons” they used were five Melodeons, four Concertinas, six Fiddles, a Guitar, Mandolin, Recorder, Harmonica, two Flutes a Banjo, five Dancers, a Bodhran and a Djembe Drum.
Renaissance Film Productions were lucky enough to be chosen to film this exciting event, and the video is now available to view here!
